‘crown’

Some call this the ugliest building in Brighton, UK, but to me, the roof is like its crown - hence the title. The building serves its purpose of cinema, which is a concrete block & functional - but the 'jewel' here is the crown, enhanced by the dark background.
The beauty of it is on a sunny day with triangular faces in light and shadow, which creates a different dimension.
This composition captures the repetition of a module seen as positive and negative spaces, amplifying textures on the faces.
