‘crown’

Some call this the ugliest building in Brighton, UK, but to me, the roof is like its crown—hence the title. The building serves its purpose as a cinema, a concrete block and functional, but the 'jewel' here is the crown, enhanced by the dark background.
Its beauty is on a sunny day, when triangular faces are in light and shadow, creating a different dimension.
This composition captures the repetition of a module seen as positive and negative spaces, amplifying textures on the faces.
